Measure the delivery route before ordering a refrigerator

Find the tightest point

Measure the usable width at gates, doors, stair turns and lift openings. Take note of handles or railings that reduce clearance and any landing where the package must turn. Compare your measurements with the packaged dimensions for the exact model and share tight spots with the delivery team.

Measure where it will live

Check the space available for the appliance, its doors and the ventilation clearance in the manufacturer’s instructions. Make sure drawers can open far enough to remove them and that nearby cabinets remain usable. Photograph the route and space if you need help reviewing the fit before ordering.
